Bio
Anya is originally from Newton, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Juilliard Drama and was most recently part of the Caryl Churchill plays Glass. Kill. What If If Only. Imp at The Public Theater, directed by James MacDonald.
She has acted in / developed work with Women’s Project, The Guthrie Theater, Williamstown Theater Festival, The Acting Company, Barrington Stage Company, Berkshire Theatre Group & many more. On screen, she has appeared on ABC, NBC and in independent film.
In 2024, she received a Broadway World Award (Best Supporting Performer) for her performance as Ophelia in Hamlet at The Guthrie Theater.
Anya is grateful to Newton Public Schools (especially Jeff Kneodler) and her family for encouraging her to pursue a life in the arts.
Outside of acting, Anya enjoys running, traveling and finding the best Szechuan food in New York City. She is based in Brooklyn.
